Louise Rush began her career as a Montessori teacher in New York. After a short stint at the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco, Louise consulted with Bay Area employers on ways to assist working parents with childcare challenges. She now directs the Local 2/Hospitality Child & Elder Care Plan, a benefit that provides reimbursement for caregiving expenses to over 2000 hotel workers in San Francisco. Helping these parents and their students navigate the college entrance process is another key responsibility. Louise serves on the board of No Bully, a non-profit working in schools and cyberspace to eradicate bullying among youth. Louise received a BA from New College in Florida and a MA in Early Childhood Education from Columbia University.
