Read Nardagani: Learn to Read is a literacy app by Nardagani Inc. designed for new readers, struggling readers, and ESL (English as a Second Language) learners. It uses a unique system of 12 phonics symbols that represent the multiple sounds made by letters with more than one pronunciation.

Key Features

Symbol-based phonics

12 unique, simple symbols guide learners in decoding sounds and act as "training wheels" for reading. These symbols represent multiple sounds made by letters with more than one pronunciation.

Memory hints

Each letter and symbol is paired with an image making sounds easy to remember.

Interactive learning

Includes engaging lessons, games, quizzes, animated visuals showing mouth/tongue movement for proper pronunciation, practice books, and printable worksheets to support active learning.

Tutor mode

Tutor mode disables the avatar's voice to enable tutors and teachers to guide instruction.

Inclusive design

Suitable for children, adults, ESL learners, and neurodiverse users (autism, dyslexia, ADHD). Works in homeschool, classroom, and tutoring settings.

Program Results & Impact

In 10 pilot programs conducted in schools, detention centers, and international settings, participants of all ages and backgrounds were tested before and after using the Nardagani method. Founder’s inspiration
Narda Pitkethly, inspired by Japanese Hiragana, adapted phonics principles to the English language to help her daughter and others facing reading challenges.
