Removing cost as a barrier and bringing Narda Pitkethly's vision of a literate world closer to reality

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to read English with confidence. Today, that opportunity is easier to access than ever. The Read Nardagani app is now FREE.

For founder Narda Pitkethly, this moment grows from a deeply personal dream. While living in Japan, she learned to read Japanese by using the symbol-based Hiragana system. Several years later, after returning to the United States, Narda's daughter was a challenged reader. To help her daughter, she was inspired to adapt this symbol-based approach to English. She watched her daughter learn and began sharing this new method with others. She had a dream of spreading this to challenged readers everywhere.

That dream became a universal mission: to build a literate world free of discrimination by empowering learners of every age, language, nationality, and background with a reading system that dismantles barriers and creates lifelong opportunity.

Reading Support That Meets Learners Where They Are

English can be confusing because many letters make different sounds. Narda imagined a clearer path: 12 easy phonics symbols that act as visual cues. They help learners sound out words with less guesswork and gradually transition to regular text, much like taking the training wheels off a bicycle.

Who Is Read Nardagani For?

Read Nardagani is designed for children and adults, including beginning readers, challenged readers, English-language learners, and neurodiverse learners. It can be used at home, in classrooms, in special education settings, for homeschooling, or during one-on-one tutoring. This breadth reflects Narda's conviction that literacy should never be reserved for the fortunate few.

Why FREE Matters to Narda's Mission

Literacy opens doors to learning, independence, employment, connection, dignity, and lifelong possibility. Making the app free removes one more barrier and carries Narda's dream farther toward a time where a person's age, language, background, or past difficulty does not determine whether reading English is within reach.

For an individual learner, "free" means being able to start today. For a parent or tutor, it means having another resource ready when support is needed. For a school or community organization, it means sharing literacy tools more widely and helping turn one woman's personal solution into opportunity for learners globally.
